Accounts on Charms have been updated. Students, please log in using the steps below and review balances due for tomorrow’s Money Day. As a reminder, the final uniform payment for new students is due tomorrow. Here is the information distributed to students about how to log into Charms:
Log on to www.charmsoffice.com, and click “ENTER / LOG IN” in the upper right corner.
Locate the “PARENT/STUDENT/MEMBERS LOGIN” section of the web page.
Login to your student’s program account using the following School Code:
This will bring up the main “Public” page. This will allow you to look at the “public” calendar for your organization, event list, and handouts and other “publicly shared” files, as well as a few other options.
The first time you go here, enter your child’s ID NUMBER (provided by your Director) into the Student Area Passwordfield. You will be directed to the Change Password screen, to set a personal password different from the ID, for future use. You may also be directed to create both a unique Username and Password for the student. There are also mechanisms to recover/reset a lost Username/Password – when you create your new password, create a “hint” as well.
Whenever you enter using this Username/password, another more detailed screen appears, with various button options for you to access areas in the Charms account. What appears here is partially up to the Account Administrator or Head Director.
One area in which you can help the director/administrator maintain his/her records:
Update Personal Information– if the director has allowed it, you may help make changes to your and your child’s student information page (such as updating phone numbers / cell carriers and email addresses if they change) to help them communicate with you more effectively. You may also be able to indicate which parent volunteer/resource groups you would like to participate in, if this feature is activated. Click Update Info to save changes.

The Calendarmay list events, rehearsals, and volunteer/RSVP opportunities.
Most importantly, the parent page assists both you and the teacher to communicatewith each other. Stay up to date on what’s going on with your student!
You can also download the Charms App to your smartphone – search your App Store for “Charms Parent/Student Portal” (or “Charms Blue”). It’s the way to stay in touch on the go!
Returning Students - Charges for retreat, membership/fair share and miscellaneous uniforms have been input into Charms. Balances due and credit carryforwards from prior years are currently being input.
New Students – Initial charges for uniforms and membership/fair share are being input. The remaining amounts due will be input soon.
Online Payments – Online payments through mid-September have been input. We are waiting for additional online payments from our school bookkeeper. Online payments may post as “Pay Pal”. This is the default in Charms. All online payments are made through SchoolPay. 😊
Cash and Check Payments – Membership/fair share, uniforms and advanced choir retreat have been input. Currently working on World’s Finest Chocolate, Car Wash profits, Ads & Patrons and Mixed Bag Designs.

Prism Concert Preparations
Next Thursday, October 25th at 6pm will be our first concert: Prism Concert. The concert is free and will be held in the auditorium. Students should arrive in the cafeteria by 4pm in professional attire (uniforms will not have arrived by then and appropriate attire has been discussed in all classes). Women’s Glee will have Prism rehearsal on Monday, October 22nd, from 2:30-3:30.
Choir Sibling Day
All choir students will participate on Choir Sibling Day on Monday, October 29th from 2:30-4:30 in the choir room.
Let All Men & Women Sing Festival
This year, the Let All Men and Let All Women Sing are combined into one day, where SunRidge and Lakeview Middle Schools choirs will visit West Orange and perform with West Orange Choirs that night. The festival is Tuesday, October 30th and students will be field tripped out of periods 5-7, and will be in rehearsals with SunRidge and Lakeview Middle School Choirs. The concert will start at 6 pm in the auditorium and finish about 6:30 pm. Students will be wearing festival t-shirts and be served dinner that evening, in which a small fee and deadline will be announced.
Disney Candlelight Processional
Congratulations to our auditioned choirs (Women’s Chorale, Mixed Choir, Bel Canto, and Concert Choir) for being selected to perform in this year’s Disney’s Candlelight Processional in Epcot. Our choirs will be featured on the following performance: Friday, December 21, 2018 - 5:00 pm. Please stay tuned for more information regarding music, schedule, and chaperones. Congratulations on this wonderful opportunity!
